Comments to Melissa - Module 2
I like the idea of dots of where coral reefs exist. Seems like a combination of geography lesson with the ecology lesson. Also, by having dots instead of a text crowded screen, it would be easier on the eyes.
Would the embedded questions about native vs non-native species only be a text description? Seems like there is an opportunity here to show photos that were used earlier? Or photos similar to previous examples? And/or show some video that was used earlier?
Perhaps a simple game could be made about the ahi fishing. Teams could be formed and play to create the healthiest habitat situation and have the largest sustainable population of native fish.

Your graphics look great! It looks in some ways similar to the examples in the textbook.
What other verb might you use to possibly replace "understand"? I ask because understand is one of those words that is a bit more difficult to measure if you are in a situation where admin is expecting you to grade the students.

Hi Susan! Great analysis. I agree with you on the instructional strategies portrayed in your module.
A suggestion would be to add an activity where you could provide the parameters of a course, and have the participant go through the website using those parameters. At the end of the activity, maybe have a snapshot of the final web page with the fields filled in. The participants could compare what they inputted versus what is the correct way to input the information.

Hi Susan, Good job on your analysis. My only question is, and I'm not too sure if you already covered this in your analysis, is if you could further detail the learner interaction with the content. Also, I didn't see a response to the following question from module 4: It is unlikely that the course you selected used a structural framework but if it did was it used effectively? If it did not can you suggest a structural framework that could be added to this course to enhance learning? Not too sure if it was just missed. Thanks, Melissa
